The Past

Before understanding what’s in the future for Secure Sector you must first understand the organization. Secure Sector was founded many years before it became what it is now but was always working quietly in the background. For years we crafted our position in the gaming space specifically for our niche; Mixing Entertainment with gaming knowledge. That is a wide niche for an organization to work within so for us to properly solidify our spot we had to look at the bigger picture; Longevity.

The length at which something or someone can consume space in the gaming world is one of the most important pieces of the journey. What games/titles have been played the most for the longest amount of time? Call Of Duty, Counter-Strike, Minecraft, and a few others. What themes have longevity throughout multiple games? Multiplayer, Competition, Mystery, Mods, and more. Depletion (The Founder) had the longest time and most amount of knowledge in the 3 listed but also had an interest in modern day titles such as Fortnite, and Apex Legends; So we combined it all. Starting with picking the Secure Sector name and our having our old lock logo made. We began making gaming montages with some of our early members we recruited through our X(Twitter) community that had great clips, music, and editing but it still didn’t feel like the perfect fit. So we adapt (The key to longevity).

It was time for us to get an upgrade. That meant an entire revamp for our look and our focus, so we got a new logo and moved our community over to discord which gives us more room to grow! Instead of montages and FPS we are taking it slower with a more community focused game; Minecraft. We have worked hard to craft our first server Secure Prison, an A-Z Prison server where you roleplay as the prisoner and you have to mine, explore easter eggs, and avoid guards to rankup quickly and escape.

Now with our creation up and running and our team working around the clock to keep things at its best performance it is important for us to keep our goals and values in mind every day. One of our current goals is to maintain a steady player base on Secure Prison, another being to make sure everyone associated with our brand upholds the values we stand for. We want to make sure our community is curated to become the most friendly, fun loving, and smart group in the ESports space.
